Their Eyes Are Watching God THREE

     Joe and Janie's relationship was nothing but trouble. There were no mutual feelings, all it was was business. Joe and Janie basically weren't happy, and didn't care for each other. Like I thought before, Joe was all talk, in the end, he wouldn't care. Janie wasn't smart enough to realize this, and succumbed to his wooing. A man with ambition like Joe has many desires, and would often times not have enough patience to deal with someone, in this case, Janie.

     Janie's feelings were probably filled with rage, as time by time she was insulted by her husband. However, this time, she was insulted in front of many people, which was even more of an impact. This shows that Joe was obviously not a good husband, and did not even care about her. I felt some pity for her, as if she said something back, people would look at her disapprovingly. she had to keep her mouth shut, despite many of the feelings she had on this situation.
