Question: What do people see in nature?

I chose this picture because I feel that it is a great picture of nature and water and all that is around us and my theme is about nature and how it is a big part of our everyday lives. This is what many people see everyday/ morning when they wake up, or when its late in the afternoon and they glance outside their window. This really caught my eye simply because I love watching the sun set or the sun rise especially when the sunlight is reflected on the water of the rivers here in the city. This is what I want to see in my work, I want to focus on the small details in our everyday lives that involves nature. I want people to look at my work and get a feel-good feeling and notice small details in my work to help them see the beauty that is all around us. That is what I want my work to show and that is why this picture caught my eye.
