The book I am reading is Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. This book is about a strong man whose life is dominated by fear and anger, Things Fall Apart is written with remarkable economy and subtle irony.Uniquely and richly African, at the same time it reveals Achebe's keen awareness of the human qualities common to men  of all times and places. This book takes place in Africa. When I first started this book i felt boring. Then I started to feel interesting and now i am almost done with this entire book. This book reminds me of my country because when I was in my country I used to live in a village too, and this book takes place in a village. you can learn some African language because it has some words in it that are not English and there is a dictionary in the back of this book.
A simple story about a strong man whose life is dominated be fear and anger.

Recently I read pages 190-198 in Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe and I like to read this book because it is getting more and more interesting. The strong man name Okonkwo was in prison because  he heart some people in the village. But now he is released because he was proven innocent.

One line from this part of the book that stands out for me is: " The only course was opened ti Okonkwo was to flee from the clan".I think this is sad because Okonkwo and his family were no longer allowed in the village the lived before. How can the do that because Okonkwo was the strongest warrior alive in nine villages. I don't like this part of the book.

Another line that I liked  was: "The musicians with their wood, clay and metal instrument went from song to song." This stood out for me because this is the funny part I found in the entire book. because the all musicians were gay and they sang the latest song in the village.

This section of chapter   reminds me of something in the news. What happened was when a women died she gave her all property to her dog. Even though she had kids. In the book the oldest man in village dies and he was rich. But he did not have any kids to give away his property.

What's probably going to happen next is Okonkwo will go to his mother's land and will return to his village after seven years. he will settle himself in him mother's village for seven years.

I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because now I am up to part two in the book. I want to see if Okonkwo the greatest warrior of all villages can actually return to his own village where he started his life.
