Recently I read 8 -15 in Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe and I found it kind of boring and interesting at the same time because the message the story is giving but it's boring because the way the author wrote it, there is no excitement in his tone, or is it just me??

One line from this part of the book that stands out for me is "In Unuofia's latest war he was the first to bring home a human head. I think this line was disgusting. When I read these few paragrapg on this page, my stomach twist. This line stand out to me because it showed a lot about Okonkwo. If some one can cut another man head off with no problem and carry it, he deserve all the respect he has.

Another line that stand out to me is " Unlike his father he can stand the look of blood". This line stand out ot me because it's amazing how a man like Okonkwo had a father that was so unbrave, poor, and basically with no life.

This section of Things Fall Apart reminds me of me and my older brother Mark. Even though this section is talking about a kid and a parent perspective. Me and my brother are way two different people even though we have same parents and lived together and always get along our whole life. It kinda of surprise me how different we are from each other.

I really can't tell what is goint to happen next. I think Okonkwo is going to continue to live his great life.

I really not looking forward to reading the rest of this book because it's too traditional and I don't really like books that get deep in their traditions.
