Topic of the day- Is it real love?

wow Tarik i have to admit this was really deep. I have to agree with you. It's like as soon as you hit your teen years and from then on people are always looking for THAT one special person who will complete them, and it's like calm down we're in high school we have the rest of our lives to fall in love. I dont know if true love happens only once, i think it happens twice. I mean i would rather wait a lifetime to expearince that then spend all my life substituting love for affection. In my opinion though true love is in the eyes of the beholder, everyone see's love differantly mand its up to that person to find someone who agrees with them.

Ah Good topic :D. I think that love is whatever people want to interpret it. It is not a feeling nor an object. It is a word we made up to help us describe these unusual feelings we have for another. Hormones have a large role in the topic love because it can make you feel all these emotions. I think real love is the ability of the person to choose whether they want to stay with this person for the rest of their lives :D

Good topic I agree with you . See I learn the hard way nothing last forever because even when you going to last forever you going to die. And the forever is gone but until the that time. You enjoy every aspect of the love you can. That is why in school its says people love them because they are just having fun. ANd that is just basicaly it you cant do anything about it.

I really like your post. I have done some research on love and relationships. I have found out different definitions and opinions on people about this topic. But what you brought up really caught my attention. And I understand what you're saying. In my opinion I think that many of us believe that we are in love and every time that we find some one that cares for us we say that, that person is our true love. There is different ways to love a person and it doesn't necessary mean that you have found your true love. I think that there is a difference and that you can love some one a lot but sometimes things don't work out and you can fall in love a lot of times. But I think that true love you can only find once, like that would be the love of your life. People fall in love many times but true love only comes once in life.

Interesting topic.....lolz yup yupz I understand when people talk about love and then they just break up out of nowhere. Although the future can't ever be predicted, you never know when people say they gonna last forever because it's a two way street either they do or don't. I really do think that love is random and it should just be left alone and let it be because some people do last forever and some don't. In school there is a certain couple between both my homie Steven and my home-girl Alexandra and yeah they are the true meaning of love that will last forever. Every time I see them together it's like you know they were meant to be......I know that they are going to last and no one will ever get in between....SHOUT OUT TO YOU HOMIIEZ!!!! <3

You've really got me thinking about your post, "Is It Real Love?" because seriously, can that really be defined.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is, "TRUE TRUE love is something that will last forever." However, I keep thinking can love really last forever? To me, I can't describe it, but it's almost as if love is not tangible.

Another sentence you brought up was, "That's the purpose of marriage." This stood out to me because I myself don't believe in marriage. It doesn't necessarily have to be based on love. There are many people who get married just because they hit the "real" thing and end up divorcing (which is one of your points). Also, puppy love can last for years, even to marriage. Maybe I just am thinking there is no such thing as love, and we are confusing it for a healthy compromise between two people.

What is true love? Wow, honestly i think about this all  the time and this is what i've come up with . True love is having the power to have someone to give themselves to you mind body and soul and you to have the power not to hurt them. I believe that love heals. I know that were taught that in order to know its love , love has to hurt but i dont believe that. I dont believe in generic love the love that makes you have sex with your boy friend because you're horny, or the love that makes you stay in an abusive relationship because you're afraid to be alone i belive that love is a thousand mile walk i dont think you can really obtain it but that we as humans can get pretty close. So ir you asked me really what i think love is i think love is like that wind you cant see it but you can feel it  tothe core of your bone and the tip of your spine love is an untochable element something we cant obtain. love heals.

  I amazed  with your write,"Is it real love," because I think your write true love happen once when you really  love someone I think you can not forget about it . Many people think there is no true love which is a lie, it only happen once.

  Another sentence that I really like was: "It's like, you know for a fact that you want to be with this person for the rest of your life. " This stood out for me because I believe it that love is big and when you truly love someone you should be with him / her for the rest of your life.

   Your writing reminds me of something that happened to me. One time I fell in love with someone and I know is true love because everything I do I think about him, and I really don't know what to do. I fill in love but I don't dare to tell him that I do. Even that I fell in love with other guy but it didn't feel the same.

i think nobody should say i love you if you din't mean it,love can't be explain really good,but love is a thing that grows from your heart.

Hey um I think real love is when you want to be with that person 24/7. When you never get tired of seeing/being with that special someone. I think true love only happens once and it's easy to realize when you're in love. I agree when you say that people think they're in love in like 2 months. True love only happens once and it takes a long time to happen. Feeling true love is being happy with even just seeing that person, when that special someone passes by you and your heart just stops because that impact of being near him/her is so great. Usually people confuse love with liking some one a lot. For example couples usually like each other a lot there for they think they are in love but love is more then that.
 

YOU ARE RIGHT- YOU WILL ONLY HAVE ONE TRUE TRUE LOVE IN YOUR LIFE. YOU CAN LOVE YOUR BEST FRIENDS AND YOUR PARTNERS BUT WHEN YOU TEULY LOVE SOMEONE YOU WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR THEM, EVEN SACRIFICE YOUR OWN LIFE FOR THEM. TRUE TRUE Love is not marriage. Yes you vould be in love with your boyfriend or soon to be husband/wife. Yes when you have your ''boyfriends'' in high school or junior high it is what I call it puppy love but does anyone ever really know who they are going to be with for the rest of their lives, you probably would only know that when you take your last breath. So I disagree with your agrument. Love does not mean forever it means something that you feel strongly. But the word love is also unexplainable so I am saying no more.

I like that you chose this topic. To alot of people they may think they can fall in love once and in retrospect they may be right because if they feel they can never find love again then they may never will. I think that you can fall in love more than once like Juno says " If your in love once then you can be in love again" you may even fall back in love with the same person. Even more than once who knows. I've heard this once and I believe it "The heart wants what the heart wants"

 I do aqree with you. I mean when you mentioned on  how you always think and analyze thinqs more carefully I am almost like that too. I mean when people say things I stop and think for a while and then qive my response. But I understand where your coming from.

One sentence that you put that stood out to me was when you mentioned " why is it that when you see a couple in school and they say that they're going to be together forever, but then they break up?" I mean I so understand this. If it was true true love they would have worked it out not end it. 

Another sentence that you wrote that stood out was " They could be like, "Oh Tarik you don't understand you weren't in love."  Even if that is the case, I know how what real love is.  No I haven't felt the genuine love that comes when you REALLY love a person and they love you. " Yes I know that is the excuse a lot of people give. "Oh you never been in love and blah blah blah" But its like you are protecting them from getting hurt but they are ignorant most of the time. That is until they get hurt and learned their lesson.

I do agree with you Tarik. I mean we have no rush LOVE is everywhere. Pero I know that God loves us all a lot and we love him too. But Tarik don't rush love I mean it will come just be patient and your prince charming will come.
