Uncle Tom's Cabin.

Uncle Tom's Cabin is about the slavery and the life of black people as they worked on the cotton field. As the book goes the slaves ddescribe the harsh things they have to overcome everyay. For example, a normal black slave is supposed to pick enough cotton in order to satisfy the slave owner of the field. Another complicated thing that black slaves have to go through is the fact that if a baby is born, it is immediately taken away from the mother and raised until it's about 6 years old. It is then sold to another slave owner. This event is devastating for the mother herself and can effect her life long. This book is interesting and complicated due to the fact that the dialogue is very hard to understand. All in all, the story is every interesting and is based on non-fiction events containing fiction characters. I highly recommend this book and hope that everyone can read it in their spare time.
