Unusual Perspective
This photo is an example of unusual perspective. The bricks on the building are lines leading towards the distance. However the lines don’t lead to a set point in the background as a perspective photo would, but rather to a forest like area. The buildings straight edge adds a split photograph effect. This image background is vertical and the bricks are horizontal which adds to the unusual perspective. This feeling is an intense and sharp feeling guided to relaxation. The straight lines of the bricks set the tone of intense and rushed. But the somewhat blurry and clam trees and leaves in the background add to the subtle effect of relaxation. This photo was achieved by tilting the camera sideways, and tilting downward at a diagonal angle.

Haley I have noticed that

I have noticed that you took this picture at eye level. Perhaps if you got in a different position you would get a more interesting picture. I think the brick wall takes up too much of the picture and perhaps if you were closer to the woods and got some more of the trees in the picture. These are just suggestions of course. Exellent Picture!
