UTA
Dear UTA,
A few days ago I had some not so good experiences with Trax and UTA Buses. I'm not saying this is true for all drivers but in a few consecutive days drivers had little patience and common courtesy for their passengers.
One occasion a friend of mine was walking to the trax station, literally passed in front of the driver, and the train pulled away with my friend still on the platform.
On another occasion, I was on a bus and there was a young woman running toward the bus stop, meaning she was on the sidewalk running in front of the bus so the driver could clearly see her. However the driver carried on, even after someone on the bus called to the driver to stop for her. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in my book.
I believe in a thing called common courtesy. I understand drivers have a deadline to meet, but they can afford to wait a couple extra seconds for people who also have deadlines to meet and depend on the bus or trax to be there for them.
