Everyone knows that this economy is bad. Everyone knows that unemployment is reaching new levels across america. But what we don't know is that individual states are getting the worst of it. Utah is getting it pretty bad.

"The latest report by the Utah Department of Workforce Services shows last month Utah's average unemployment rate rose to 5.1%. It's the first time in five years Utah has been over 5%.

The increase means as a state Utah lost roughly 26,000 jobs in 2008. If you compare that to the country's unemployment rate, Utah is still below the national average of 8.1%."

So we could either look on the downside of things and be sad that our unemployment is extremely high, or we could be grateful that we are not nearly as high as the entire country. We all need to bond together and try to make all numbers lower-in states and in the entire country.

I dont think we could be sad about, thats not an option, but some people have to live with it. This economy is getting worst because of the war. We can't do anything about, thats the presidents job, however I read an artical and it was saying how Obama wasnt going to take out the troops in Iraq at the moment even though he wants to help the economy as fast as possible. I dont know why, but we need to send them home so we could stop spending money on wepons to defend our people in a useless battle.
