The Voice Junkie

When American Idol began its long time run as the great singing show, it was really the only show of its kind. Not until recent years has there been an increase in vocal shows. I have never really given any of these shows my time because I thought from the very beginning that American Idol was stupid. Then while watching the Super Bowl last year I saw a preview for a show called The Voice and I decided to give it a try since I was a fan of the coaches.

Now midway through the second season I can honestly say I'm a junkie for The Voice. I hate to miss even a minute of the show and if I have to miss I will watch it the next day. I think what makes this show so much better is the fact that the singers are actually good; they are all talented. The coaches are also a big reason I keep watching the show, they are hilarious. They have a bond that is infectious.

Since the first season I have been trying to get people to convert to The Voice and I think I have succeeded. Many of my friends now watch the show and love it. So I would definitely suggest watching the show.
