The topic I have chosen is the volcano in Iceland. I have heard that this volcanic eruption has shut down all air flights going to Ireland, Scotland and England. This topic interests me because it has cost millions of dollars because people can’t fly where they want to.
The article I have gone to look for information is called volcanic ash snarls Scottish, Irish air service. This volcano has delayed 300,000 passengers.Sceinsts have said that the ashes are 20,000 feet up in the air. This height is only dangerous for descending aircrafts. "If Iceland has the wrong kind of geology, Ireland has the wrong kind of geography. It's too close to Iceland and is dependent on air travel," said tourism industry analyst Simon Calder.
I disagree with this article because planes don’t travel that low so planes should be able to fly again
