Hi, this is Thomas.

You make some interesting points, but I cannot help but notice that some of the assertions you have made in regards to the socio-economic significance of the passage you have referenced in your post are wholly and completely unfounded. Not only will I present that bold statement but I will take it a step further by justifying the remarks I have made--which, one might say, are just as unfounded as the positions that have been taken and assertions made by the original poster. Needless to say, the naysayers are about to be disproved.

First of all, you present an inadequate amount of background information on the topics you are discussing, even for a literature talk discussion group in which group members would be expected to know some of the rudimentary processes involved in literary criticism. On top of that, the world-view you have presented (inadverdently, perhaps) is entirely inconsistent with that of the body politic, let alone all of the possible audience of your post. Perhaps it would be of great benefit to you if you were to do some more extensive research on the field of literature as a whole, and perhaps to read some pieces of literary criticism written by writers who have had extensive experience in the various literature fields.
