What is the best way to die?

Best way to die? Die in your sleep! It's the most peaceeful and least painful way to go. If you wanted to commit suicide.. i guess that would be another story. For me, I can't say i'm scared of death itself as long as I die peacefully. But if i were to die, say tomorrow, I would be regretful of all the things i would miss out on. I haven't really experienced the death of a loved one except for a few distant relatives. I wonder if I would be one of those who can't get over their death, or someone who quickly moves on with their own life. I guess it depends on who reallly..

One thing you said that stood out was "Death is like a snake can come and kill you anytime they want they see you laying there and attack you." This is true because you never really know if something will happen tomorrow that will kill you. You might be casually chatting with your friend on the phone while crossing the street when a car hits you. Things can happen so suddenly and so quickly that it is impossible to anticipate your death.

One thing I DON'T want to experience is being diagnosed with an illness and you pretty much know how much time you have. I think that's the most terrible thing. Some people might think that if you had to die anyways, dying of illness would be better because you have time to prepare yourself and your surroundings, etc, but for me I don't know how i would endure those days.

I was interested in your post, "What is the best way to die?" because it speaks of a topic some don’t enjoy to discuss about. I think depending on whom you ask, they’ll have a different opinion on the best way to die.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: "Death is like a snake can come and kill you anytime they want they see you laying there and attack you." I think this is agreeable because death is unexpected. Since no one can be sure about the future, you should live every day like it’s your last.

Another sentence that I liked was:  "I can go on talking about death all day like I already died and came back to life.” This stood out for me because there are many ways to die. Personally, I think the best way to die, if there is one, is of old age while enjoying your last moments with your loved ones. A death that doesn’t involve pain is the best one.

Your post reminds me of something that happened to me. One time, when I was young, my mother’s grandmother died and my mother went to hospital where she was. She held my mother’s hand in her last moments as my mother said a prayer. Then, she passed away and I could never understand the pain of losing a loved one because I haven’t gone through that tragedy yet.

Um I think the best way to die is sleeping because its not painful. For example I'm scared of pain so I would love to die in the least painful way. When people commit suicide I guess it's because their life is not going the way they wanted, but I feel like that's not a good reason. I don't think any reason is good because no one should commit suicide, God knows when he's going to take some one's life away. I guess dying for the love one some one feels right, like for example in movies sometimes they show how someone gives their life to save the person they love, and they feel happy about that. I'm not scare of dying but I'm scare of getting old for some reason, I don't know why though. But anyways dying while I'm sleeping is the best way to die for me.
 

Well personally i think death is rather scary, the idea of the bleak unknown and all. I have to say i'm very jealous of all those who have a God so to speak because then i know i wouldn't be afraid of death. But alas i am without one and i fear death because its such a...cosmic end. Anyway on that note i think the best way to die would to be in the process of saving your family from a sinking battleship (Tenenbaums) in whic case you would probably die from drowning, so if i were you i would try and adhere to that.

For me, if i had to die, I'd die in my sleep, because it's less pianful. But first, I'd want to do everything i always wanted to do in my life before I go away. Also try the best food that the world has to offer. Heh, that's just me. I don't think dying by a gunshot wound will be the best way, because then you'd feel it and of course, start to cry.  A snake, um, wouldn't be so good because well, some snakes' vemon can kill fast, but some are too slow and will make the victim feel the agony and well, I don't like it. Mainly because you won't be able to breath. I would never want to feel that. Ever since my twin said she was this close to dying from suffocation in the swimming pool while we (my dad and me) were having fun. sucide would seem very scary, since some sudicides occur by throwing yourself off the building....10 feet high.. kinda reminds me off left 4 dead where i by accidently made zoey fall off a building.

Basically, this post caught my attention because you wanted to know what is a good way to die. practically everyone who posted said that dying in your sleep is the best way, because you won't be able to feel the agony and pian of dying.
