What is the easiest language to learn and comprehend?
This question stems from years of various foreign languages. The school that I attended taught Spanish up until Middle School when we could choose between French or Spanish, I learned French the next two years and then two years of German in High School. I'm not very fluent in any of these and have concluded that I'm just not made for any other language then English. I did however, want to know which would have been the easiest to full learn.
According to studies and research done, any language can become fluent if taught at a young age. For an example, a child who was born in the US that has Latino parents can be taught both English and Spanish and comprehend both very well. Generally speaking though, Spanish is the easiest to learn no matter your home language, whereas English is one of the hardest due to it's lack of rules. The hardest part about learning English is that the majority of people that speak it use the terms and words incorrectly, while other languages actually have lines to stay in between. Second in line behind Spanish is Italian for the easiest, and Arabic along with English are in the top of the hardest catagory.
