Personally, England has one of the most interesting history recordings that ever existed. By history recordings, I mean that it has a really nice history on how the country came to be. The most interesting periods, was the one where Queen Elizabeth I ruled. I love Queen Elizabeth I because she was a very influencing females in the world. I also think that without Queen Elizabeth, England wouldn't be what it is today. We can also say that England is the birth-giver of the U.S. This country has sure had fascinating history and even today the country stands
out.

One quote that I found very interesting is: "England has a vast and influential culture that encompasses elements both old and new. The modern culture of England is sometimes difficult to identify and separate clearly from the culture of the wider United Kingdom, so intertwined are its composite nations. However the English traditional and historic culture remains distinct albeit with substantial regional differences." Culture is very interesting and I think that it's good to have the new and old combined together, because the old obviously creates the new.

Another quote that I thought was awesome: "Although highly regarded in the Middle Ages, English cuisine later became a source of fun among Britain's French and European neighbours, being viewed until the late 20th century as crude and unsophisticated by comparison with continental tastes. However, with the influx of non-European immigrants (particularly those of south and east Asian origins) from the 1950s onwards, the English diet was transformed." Wow that is really cool, but maybe at the same time should have kept most of cuisine from your ancestry because it's also good to keep the old as well as making room for the new.

I like this picture because of the way it expresses the something important to the English. This picture shows the Buckingham Palace and this is very meaningful piece to England. I like the statue that's facing the palace it kind of sets the mood for this scene. I love the clouds and the way they are formed, it looks beautiful.
