What happened to Christopher's face?

In pages 74 - 90 in The Curious Incident of the dog in the night-time, by Mark Haddon, the main character, Christopher goes to the zoo for the first time, and it was a good experience for him. But the next day he went to school with a bruise on his face, and he told his friend what happened. I think his friend told the teacher or something, then Christopher got all scared and frightened about what is going to happen.

One line from this part of the book that stands out for me is: "I got a burise on my face." I think this is sad and disappointing because why would his dad hit him and everything and leave a bruise on his face with him going to school? His dad shouldn't have done that in the first place. It is called child abuse. No parents should hit their child or anything because they can really get hurt.

Another line that I liked was: "NO." This stood out for me because you should always say NO to the stuff that is not good for you and everything. A lot of people fall under peer pressure everyday of their lives and it makes them say yes and everything. People need to understand how to say NO so they dont get hurt.

This section of The Curious Incident of the dog in the night-time reminds me of something in the news. What happened was that his husband beat up his wife and tried to literally kill her and everything and she fought for her life to survive and then she called the cops and her husband got caught by the cops and put in jail. Why would you want to be in a abusive relationship. Why would the husband beat his wife in the first place? HE must have gone crazy.

What's probably going to happen next is that Christopher is finally able to return to his fathers bedroom for him being in other people's buisness and then during one of those days two emergencies were had to be handled and Christopher goes into his bedroom to see what is going on. I think he is doing the right things because he is just trying to help and everything.

I am  looking forward to reading the rest of this book because I want to find out what is going on with the two emergencies and I want to see what Christopher is going to do and I know that he is trying to help these people find out what is really going on.
