What I learned Today

Today while researching my topic on the internet i learned a lot of facts that i did not know. I learned that George Washington actually grew Marijuana on his property back before the revolutionary war, as well as afterwards. Not only did he, but almost everyone was required to grow hemp around Jamestown. Jamestown was one of the first settlements in the new world when America was being discovered. Hemp is currently legal* in 13 states *(medically)*, but not legal anywhere recreationally in the America's. It is currently legal to posses up to 5 grams for recreational purposes in Amsterdam, Netherlands. While researching this topic i have also come to the conclusion that there are mainly people who are for it medically, people who are for it medically as well as recreationally, and people who appose it in both ways and would like nothing more than to get rid of marijuana completely. In furthering my knowledge, i will be using many interviews and many different quotes from people to make sure that i explain all of the different viewpoints of this controversial topic well.
