Why are there only poor schools found in continents such as Africa, Asia and South America?

One of the big questions that I picked from my list was question #2 because I found it interesting and a question that I had in my head for a while. My dad works for UNICEF so when I go to his office, he tells and shows me pictures and videos about schools and countries that need help. This is how I started getting interested in global problems and global awareness. This is an example of how this question makes me think deeply about what goes on in the countries around the world because it sends an image in my head of those schools in need of help. The small question to #2 is something that I can research about to find an answer to and when I find out the answers to my big and small question for #2, it will be easy for me to share and tell other people about schools around the world that are less unfortunate.
