Whether your an animal or a human. A female is a female and a male is a male. When you are so used to being one way...you look for things that are the same way. Therefore,boys look for cars and such to play with so they can continue being what they are and they can hone it. Obviously it is akward if you see a boy playing with a barbie...well for most people.
Their data demonstrated that male vervet monkeys showed significantly greater interest in the masculine toys, and the female vervet monkeys showed significantly greater interest in the feminine toys.
