Why is the government lying and spying on us?
The government has always been hiding stuff from us every since the government itself was born weather to protect us or to control us it was always part of they’re agenda and they have been intensifying that control and getting more into our personal and daily lives with the rise of the new technologies and new possibilities. Now with the tapping our telephones to zooming in on us from the satellites to putting chips into us through vaccines the question weather or not we have our own privacy does not exist anymore. Our mail and everything we type / do is recorded and viewed by the government so there is no longer need for the word privacy. The government has been taken over and corrupted by corporations and industries and the people no longer have the freedom of speech and voting has no more meaning now since the presidents are elected beforehand and controled by big corporations. The people now have to server the state and the state has to serve the corporations. Earth INC is created since corporations have no need for borders or boundaries and they’re influence extends throughout the globe corrupting bribing and using the world to they're own needs. There is no by the people for the people anymore. And our rights are being taken away more and more every day right under our noses through false events and deceptive media. It is all controled and if we only see what it is shown and given to us by the media or newspapers and those are controled by the government then how do we know what is real and what is not? We could might as swell be living a lie. But i shall get more in debt to every specific detail of the lies and deceptions of our government as we move along.
As we all know, the melting temperature of steel (iron + carbon) is approx. 1532 C, or 2790 F and since hydrocarbon fires can't approach these temperatures, then there had to be something else that could. Because the official story, 9/11 commission itself and NIST reports fail to even acknowledge that "something else", I think it's safe to suggest that a real independent investigation is warranted.
This is a very good debate showing that the government may have been part of the 9/11 attack and that they are denying and hiding it.
Thus, the United States prohibits torture and cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment of persons in the custody or control of the U.S. Government, regardless of their nationality or physical location, except when the President, exercising his commander-in-chief powers under the Constitution deems it to be in the national security interest of the United States to use torture and cruel, inhuman, or degrading techniques—in which case they will be used, although the United States will deny this fact, and when confronted with physical evidence thereof, it will claim that acts of torture or official cruelty constitute the work of rotten apples, lacking government authority.
If the government can find excuses to do whatever they please like torture which is against the constitution then what stops them from violating all of the other amendments of the constitution with excuses like national security. Secrecy is good yes but i think there are far more secrets that the US keeps. And a great philosopher said that Empires can only fall from within. And liying to its people is the start of it.
This imagine is a representation of how the government is corrupt and how senators work together for a common goal which is they’re own interests.
This is my essay for the week and is the only topic i could think of, I hope i think of a better one next week or improve upon this one. As i said in this essay, never trust the government!! Although they may say that they are spying on us for our own safety, it is not always the case and is to control us better and make sure we don’t revolt or they don't lose control.

I liked your
I liked your post,"Why is the government lying and spying on us?” because I agree with what you said. I also believe that the government lies to us and hides a lot from us. The government keeps things private and they don't let people know about it.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: "The government has always been hiding stuff from us every since the government itself was born weather to protect us or to control us it was always part of they’re agenda and they have been intensifying that control and getting more into our personal and daily lives with the rise of the new technologies and new possibilities." I think this is true because I know that the government is allow to listen to any phone conversations people have . This is wrong because it is taking people’s privacy away. The government uses all its power to maintain any information possible even if it interferes with people’s privacy.
Another sentence that I agreed with was: "If the government can find excuses to do whatever they please like torture which is against the constitution then what stops them from violating all of the other amendments of the constitution with excuses like national security." This stood out for me because I never thought of this before. I realized that this makes a lot of sense. Government does find excuses to everything they do. When ever something is put into the government hands they always put any excuse to make it seem like nothing is their fault.
Your post reminds me of something I saw on TV. I saw this news where I heard that the government was making up excuses for fighting the war in Iraq.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I would like to know more of government issues. I found this post really interesting.
Very interesting argument
Very interesting argument you have placed upon Youthvoice and I really congratulate you for being more than bold and somewhat blunt, respectively, towards the U.S. government. Well as we all know, every government is corrupt no matter what happens and they will always be, since humans do not have a pure heart or a ruler than control with full duty of his job and being just or what we call just at the same time. Government is a very interesting topic to really combat, because even though there are certain theories to what you explain, there are other theories that pertain to the fact that the U.S. government is innocent. I will denigrade the U.S. government's reputation right away because no one really knows what went on in 9/11, thus leading questions unanswered and leading to conclusions based upon what we know which is very limited. I would recommend that your essay be much more complete and in terms of making an argument, it's really hard to follow when there are spelling as well as grammar mistakes all over. I would suggest you edit and make the argument much more nicer and neater, as to not just be complete, but well and comprehensive in the same manner. I am not doing this to exarcebate your feelings towards my suggestions, but I just want to let you know that it is very hard to follow an argument in the incomplete aspect. I also, would like to see some more evidence because if I were to be a reader from the outside; this would definitely not attract me into believing that such theory is possible because iof its incomplete manner. Also, I would like to say that this is a very nice topic you have come up with to discuss about. I for sure want to know much more.
I liked your post, i agree
I liked your post, i agree with what you said. Especially this line that you said " Now with the tapping our telephones to zooming in on us from the satellites to putting chips into us like vaccines the question whether or not we have our own privacy does not exist anymore." I thought this was true statement cause the technologies are evolving and now government probably likes breaking through people's privacy with camera's or recording people's conversation through the phone. its just not right for the government to do that. New technologies are coming out, but if it takes privacy away its not good.
True Post!
Dear Raul:
I am very intrigued by your post Why is the government lying and spying on us? because nowadays the people are unaware of what is actually happening behind the scenes. The government tells the people that the problem is not serious, but who knows whether or not they are telling the truth. The government has kept the worse from us, but the people deserve to know the real truth.
One sentence that you wrote that stands out for me is: “It is all controlled and if we only see what it is shown and given to us by the media or newspapers and those are controlled by the government then how do we know what is real and what is not? Although we are not a communist nation, our government still does have ground rules on what can be displayed to the government. Of course many problems should be censored for the youth today who are growing up. Many cannot understand the severity of the situation, but those who do wish they rather wouldn’t. People who immigrated to the United States believed that it is an opportunity to prosper. Nowadays a person is lucky to even find a job.
Another sentence that I thought interesting was: “Thus, the United States prohibits torture and cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment of persons in the custody or control of the U.S.” Yes it may be prohibited but, the police over exercise their power as officers. The government over use their power for their self usage, and not the people. There is a huge gap between the rich and the poor. The rich as in the people who have a chair in the government mostly care for themselves, but not the people who are struggling to get by. The poor depend on the government for needs, and the government are holding out on us the people.
I do completely agree with you on that the government has been hiding the worst from the people. Today people watch the news to find out what is happening in the world today. The government never really tells the real truth to the media If the people of the world were to really know what is happening behind the office, there would be chaos. The government always says that we are in an economic crisis, but where has all the money gone. Yes, we do owe money to China, but there should also be money left on the side. Taxes have gone up, and so has the poverty, and homeless rate.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to see what you write next because not many people worry about what the government has done. Many people just accept the changes without questioning the government’s decisions. There has been a lot of indecision about how this crisis should be fixed. The government should stop spying, and lying, and do something to help the people live better lives.
