There are many different forms of engineering for vehicles for each part of a vehicle which includes safety engineering, emissions, performance, etc.  The equipment needed to build a car out of scratch in which I can understand why they cost so much money.  I can understand now why it is better to buy smaller cars like the SMART cars that are much smaller and save a great amount of gas.
