I created the Scratch animation "The Wind and the Sun" as my response to a project to create an interactive ethical story. An ethical story is a story that has two endings, in which they can be either right or wrong. The viewer must chooses which ending should happen.

My story is about the wind and the sun who are trying to see who is stronger. Note that this is one of Aesop's fables. Anyway, the wind challenges the sun to see who is the strongest. They do this by attempting to separate a traveller's blanket away from him. For the first ending, the Sun wins thr competition. At the other ending, the wind blows strong winds because he was "bored".

My story was inspired by Aesop. I decided to use this fable for my project because the idea of competition kind of draws me in. I tried to follow the same format as the real fable. I didn't borrow any ideas for the altenate ending, though. I just came up with it myself.

I think I was successful in creating my story because I fulfilled a lot of the requirements of this project. Even though it doesn't look proffesional, I don't really think it matters whether or not you're a good artist. The actions and the dialogue seem to fit along the main idea of this ethical story. The elements of both ending work perfectly, and the entire story is just great.
