This is the winter installment of our seasons project. I have mixed feelings about this photo. Winter is undoubtedly my favourite season. However, I feel like this photo is a little more dull than the others. Not to mention, the sun was shining right into the lens, so a bit of the trees in the left of the photo are washed out. I'm not sure what, but something about this picture just seems off to me...

 I actually think that the way the sunlight has washed out the left side of the picture makes it a more interesting photo. Along with the snow, it more conveys that blinded feeling when you walk out into untouched snow for the first time, with all the light reflecting off of it. It's an unintentional but very effective way of getting the viewer to connect with the photographer and the setting.

 This is a very unique photograph.  The snow looks untouched, yet the shining sun gives it a warm feeling.  I personally, really like this photograph.  It's in a way, very random and calm.  I think this because the stool looks abandoned, and the snow looks natural and clean.  However, my favorite season is definitely summer!  This photograph is amazing without a doubt.
