Working Hard and New Experiences

Hunger by Lan Samantha Chang: Tian is having difficulties living right now and he is trying to fit into the American customs that he never recognized before. Tian is learning new things and he is visiting places he had never seen before and as well as that he visits schools and found many things to look at. There are so many difficulties that he has to face and have to go through and deal with as well. Things were just so different and new.

I think Hunger by Lan Samantha Chang is important because Tian and his family and other people are having to go through this as well. They have to experience new things that they never experienced before and that is really for new families to do and indivisuals as well. There are also many new things to see and look at, but I also think they they are having a great experience.

A passage from pages 22-23 is "he never goes out to have a drink with his student, said the waistress. He is antisocial of something important tahn in the groups" I think this is important because I really think that everyone should be social with each other and people should not be antisocial and be all alone. Being antisocial is sometimes a good thing and it can be a bad thing as well because people need to communicate with others and be friendly with others as well.

Another part that I disliked was: " Your husband is a neat and hardworking man" said a waitress. I think husbands should be doing the work and taking care of the family and taking care of his wife. Husbands should be hardworking man and taking care of everyone. He should also be neat and not messy like other guys are. Some husbands are really lazy and everything and doesnt want to do anything at all.

This section of Hunger reminds me of something that happened in the news. It was when the husband was really poor and everything and he had to take care of his kids. He had to work hard to support his family and everything or else his family would not have a living. He worked hard each and every day and he was a hardworking man. He never gave up or anything on his job and kept working until one day it paid off and he started making more money and more money and sooner of later he became rich. People should look upon their goals and not put themselves down.

Whats probably going to happen next is that Tian is going to adopt to the environment and learns about the American customs. Tian is going to get use to the customs here and he learns how to experience life in a new place and also learns how to fit in with others and realizes how beautiful it is, the things that he is seeing.

I am looking foward to reading the rest of this book because I want to learn about what is going to happen and what is going on and what does Tian learn about through out this book. This book is really interesting as it gets furthur and further into the book and I want to see how people deal with things, do they do it the wrong way, or they do it the right way and be good people.
