Working Hard or Hardly working

 It is a stop action picture of my grandfather and my brother on the roof shoveling snow. The sky came in great and the darks made the image stick out. The faces on the people could be seen because I used a filter. The small dark building in the front of the house was centered but I wasn’t aiming for the porch. The truck came out nicely, it was in a great spot that made it show a diagonal and the edge of the house is on a third line. I like the way the wire crosses on another third line and how it directs the attention of the eyes to the roof. The snow piles show that it was a bad storm. The angle I took the picture at show that I was looking up at them, from a low spot in the ground. It meets depth of field and stop action but it is an extra credit for me. I’ve got many other pictures that can be filled in. I’ve done multiple pictures of this specific one to get it right.
