Would you ever use your dog to get away with things?

I found this cartoon interesting because it's funny and I didn't expect the ending it has. It reminded me of my friend that has a dog but never used that lie. Vid told me that's something I would say if I had a dog. Also, i wouldn't expect a person to hide donuts in a bag while walking their dog. I'd think it's the dog poop.

I think this cartoon was meant to interpret something people would say as an excuse when they walk their dog. They can carry some goods and others would ask them so they lie using their dog as an excuse. Also it's kind of common sense for a dog walker to carry a bag for  the dog's poop. Plus the guy on the bench got played. haha
