Younger Years and Younger School Years
In the book “the Catcher in the Rye” by J.D. Salinger, I’ve read up to page 5 and I found something interesting that seems somewhat similar to what had happened to me in the past. The line I read was “Quite a few guys came from these very wealthy families, but it was full of crooks anyway.” This made me think back when I was in middle school. There might not have been a lot of wealthy people in my school but there were sure a lot of crooks in there. It was a school with a lot of drama, via fights and stealing.
I remembered that once in a while I would see a few of my friends sitting next to a kid that’s very depressed or crying and we would know right away that something of his was taken. But this line also made me think of this one time where this one very rich but very dumb kid who I knew lost his deck of Yu Gi Oh cards and all he did was just sit there, starring at nothing but the wall. His card was worth a total of about $300 and when he found out who took it, he tackled that person as if he was a wolf who had nothing to eat in days.
As I continue to read this book I hope that I get to read upon something that is very interesting that I can wow everyone who reads this. But till then I will keep on reading and log about it as soon as possible. Hopefully this was fun to read and see you again.
