     Hi my name is Betsy. I have a smaller brother named Bryan. My family is from Mexico. I love dogs they are my favorite animals. My favorite thing to do is to be with my best friends. I was born here in New York City.My best friends are Crystal and Gizella.My favorite hobbies are to read books and to see t.v alot. My favorite place to be is to be in school.I love my past and I am going to tell you somethings of why I like my past.First of all one thing that I like about my past is all the adventures Ive been through. For example the first time I went to Mexico.It was so scary at first but after the first time i loved being in Mexico.Another thing when my brother was born. I was so happy because he is the only sibling I've ever had.Those are only two but there is more things about me.

 Hi! My name is Nyasia i go to school at The Young Women's Leadership School Of Astoria. I live not to far from here i live in Rego Park by the way is now called LeFrak City. Its a nice neighborhood owned by the LeFrak family even though i live with my aunt and my grandparents and mom my dad is still there but just not in the same house. He lives in Mount Vernon not to far from here also. Anyway lets get into my hobbies i LOVE chess,track,basketball,football,swimming,and wrestling. I want to be a vet cause i love animals mostly dogs there my favorite i have seven of them. I went to this school because i thought it maybe fun to try something different like attending an ALL GIRLS SCHOOL i mean is it wrong to do something new? I always said i would NEVER in my life go to an all girl school and i am attending one. Its not that bad anyway i think i am a good influence to younger kids to try something different and something i said i would never do. Don't  you think that's something kids should follow?

My name is Shi Giang Ng, but I prefer to be called Luis, which is my Romanized name since birth and with which I identify myself readily among friends. I was born in Colombia from Chinese parents, so I am shaped more with Colombian values than Chinese, and dominate Spanish over Chinese language which is like a partially learned foreign language, to the amusement of many people.

 

 Hi my name is Amira. I go to TYWLS of Astoria. I’m 12 years old. I have a sister. Her name is Mona. She also goes to TYWLS of Astoria. I’m in the 7^th grade. My sister is in the 9^th grade. I love school because I want to be good in my profession.

 

    My name is Reasat Protik.  I'm a senior at the East-West School of International Studies.  I turned 17 on June 27th.  This is my second and last year at EWSIS.  I enjoyed my junior year here.  It was a big transition from moving from Bronx Science to here.  Bronx Science was a large school.  It was much harder there than here.  After I moved to Jamaica, I transferred to EWSIS.  I am from a Bangladeshi-Muslim family.  I was born in Bangladesh, but I grew up here in New York almost my whole life.  I have one older brother, who is currently a pharmacist.            I am a pretty lazy guy, but when I'm focused and motivated, I tend to do great things.  I'm kind of shy, until  I get to know you a bit.  I can be funny at times, but I'm mostly a serious guy.  I'm kind of careless.  I can be forgetful at times.  And I tend to lose things sometimes.  Like today.  I had a cell phone on me today on my way to school.
