In trying to find the answer to this question I came across this answer, “Being ticklish is our defense against creepy crawlies like spiders and bugs, a physiological response alerting us to a specific type of threat. That is why vulnerable parts of our bodies - feet, chest, and armpits, are among the most ticklish,” (Yahoo).

What is laughter? Can you verbally put into words, the meaning of laughter? I'm sure everyone, even babies, laugh or smile at least once a day. Either way, we all do it; we love it; it's generally contagious; yet, it is so complicated in itself. Dictionary.com defines laugh as:

I was listening to this podcast by Daryl Surat on animeworldorder.com and I was looking in the anime that sucks section. They were reviewing (mercilessly bashing) this late 70's anime by Go Nagai named Kekko Kamen.Now I've heard a lot of people rant on and on about anime that they hate,but these guys were incredibly funny. Any real anime fan,who really gets the humor of this great genre around which our lives are central,will laugh at this and will definetly tell a friend how funny it was.

RadioLab. One of the finest programs on NPR, interviews with scientists who explore those questions you never realized you had. 

I learned that people laugh because something is funny or they're being tickled or even by another person. Just like a smile, laughing is contagious!

My friend once told me  that,  "Laughter is like a bad movie.

From Wikipedia, I learned that LAUGHTER can lower stress and blood pressure.  Also, the Limbic System is involved with laughter.

Last summer,  I visited my cousins in Romania and they had to go to church. I don't usually go to church but this time they invited me so I said OK.

Laugh as much as you breathe and lov

    With the economy falling apart, financial problems everywhere, unemployment craziness, etc., stress is at an all-time high for many people. Stress can have horrible side-effects, and can even be fatal. Going anywhere from just a simple headache, to a full on anxiety attack, stress can attack the body in just a short matter of time.

Laughter is one of my favorite past times. I'm sure I'm not the only who shares a love for laughter. But not only is it fun.. new research also shows it can very beneficial.
