I noticed that one of the biggest difficulties I am having is getting my own work up on the interenet and out in public. I think this is because I am hesitant with officializing my work and putting it all together. In my first group of photographs, I was focusing on the theme of light. I used photoshop to experiment with cropping and other simple tools. On reflecting on the work of that I had done, I said that I wanted to take pictures of a light source directly. As I was doing this, I realized that taking pictures of things in interesting lighting was more fun and appealing to me. At this point, I changed the theme of my photography to pictures of people. In my second group of photos, I was experimenting with angles and I also tried to think about light like I had earlier. At the end of this cycle I said that I wanted to try to take portraits of people. This was harder than I thought it would be because creative and interesting shots weren't every where. Now, in my digital photography class we are learning at lot about lighting. I'm beginning to think about it a lot and the effect it could have on my photos.
