Hi,

My name is Bayan Shuaib, and I am fifteen years old; my birthday is on September. I am arabian, but I live in the United States. I am friendly, honest, and hard working. I enjoy reading, going to school, writing poetry, and going to the park. I am interested in learning foriegn languages and playing the piano. I was born and raised in Palestine, and I only came to America three years ago. My favorite color is red.

I have two brothers, one sister, and one nephew. One of my brothers goes to Long Island University, and he's in his third year in Pharmacy D. My brother is my inspiration. When I grow up, I wish to become a pharmacist. More importantly, I wish to become an independent and strong lady. I wish to be an individual of benefit to myself, family, and society. I don't wish to fail my mission of becoming successful. The closer I get to the road of college, the more I feel my heart beating faster.

My dad (God bless him) passed away when I was thirteen, so my other brother works to earn the family living. He is responsible in place of my father to take care of the family. He is also my inspiration of taking responsibility for myself and others. I can be happy simply if I were able to make you smile. Of this life, I don't ask for much, because I believe that eventually everything will be gone and nothing will be left but my good deeds.

One more thing to include about me is that I am crazy over Arabic food. My mom makes the most delicious food ever, so I really love her for that. I won't really be able to handle life on my own. I am in a constant need for my beloved ones around, and I fear loneliness so I hope that at some point I can become more independent in life.

Mi nombre es Bayan Shuaib, y estoy de quince años, mi cumpleaños es el mes de septiembre. Yo soy árabe, pero vivo en los Estados Unidos. Soy amigable, honesto y trabajador. Me gusta leer, ir a la escuela, escribir poesía, y yendo al parque. Estoy interesado en el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras y tocar el piano. Nací y crecí en Palestina, y sólo llegó a Estados Unidos hace tres años. Mi color favorito es el rojo.

Tengo dos hermanos, una hermana y un sobrino. Uno de mis hermanos va a la Universidad de Long Island, y está en su tercer año en Farmacia D. Mi hermano es mi inspiración. Cuando crezca, quiero ser un farmacéutico. Más importante, quiero ser una mujer independiente y fuerte. Quiero ser una persona de beneficio para mí, la familia y la sociedad. No quiero fracasar mi misión de convertirse en éxito. Cuanto más me acerco a la carretera de la universidad, más siento mi corazón latir más rápido.

Mi padre (Dios bendiga a él) murió cuando yo tenía trece años, por lo que mi otro hermano trabaja para ganarse la vida familiar. Es responsable en el lugar de mi padre para cuidar de la familia. También es mi inspiración de asumir la responsabilidad para mí y para otros. Puedo ser feliz simplemente si yo fuera capaz de hacerte sonreír. De esta vida, yo no pido mucho, porque creo que finalmente todo se ha ido y no quedará nada, pero mis buenas obras.

Una cosa más para incluir en mí es que yo estoy loco por la comida árabe. Mi mamá hace la comida más deliciosa nunca, así que realmente la amo por eso. Realmente no será capaz de manejar la vida por mi cuenta. Estoy en una necesidad constante de mis seres queridos en todo, y me temo que la soledad, así que espero que en algún momento puedo ser más independientes en la vida.
