Frank Lloyd Wright was born in Richland Center, Wisconsin in 1867. He was an architect who designed many different types of buildings, like the prairie house which was one of his first ideas, a long, low building with hovering planes and horizontal emphasis. He died at Taliesin West, Scottsdale, AZ in 1959. Three very notable works of his are the Taliesin West in Scottsdale, AZ, Fallingwater in Ohiopyle, (Bear Run), Pennsylvania, and the Johnson Wax Building in Racine, Wisconsin.
