The way the Jews were being persecuted in the Holocaust is tragedy and inhumane. Elie Wisel's award winning novel, Night, gives graphic detail on the horrors of the Holocaust. Millions of Jews were murdered simply because of their ethinicity. They died just because they were Jewish.
I can make a conncetion of this novel to Muslim persecution throughout history. In recent hisotry, many Muslims are being persecuted in their own lands. From Checnya to Bosnia to Palestine and many places. Muslims are being slaughtered just because of their faith. However in Islam, dying in the hands of enemy for the sake of God, these martyrs are rewarded in the Hereafter. They stick to their beliefs and die for them. It's sad to see many Jews abandoning their religion because of the hardships they faced. I understand what they were going through was living hell, but if they were true to their reliogion, they would stuck by it til the end.
