First of all, this is my first music video that I have ever made and second of all, the clips in this music video were compiled from a movie called "Tekkon Kinkreet" which was around an hour long and not made by me. The music was by the artist My Chemical Romance(MCR) and the song in the video is called "This is how I disappear". It's basically a tribute to the movie because I loved it so much.

For the beginning of the video, I chose to use that clip because it was one of the most dramatic and action packed scenes in the movie which I believed was an excellent way to start off a fast paced music video and set the mood for it. I also subbed the beginning of it myself since it was in Japanese(The English dubbed American version lacked the dramatic effect in voice acting)so you can see a grammar error which I never bothered to fix because I got too lazy afterwards. I tried to use clips that matched well with the lyrics as well as the rhythm of the song. Eventually when it began to reach the ending, I decided to have a conclusion to the video which I thought was a great way to end it. These techniques are quite common in music videos because it helps give more of an impact to each clip. Each clip was used in order so none of the clips; if I remember correctly were taken out of order from the movie(excluding the last 5 seconds of the video which was actually the first 5 seconds in the actual movie). The purpose of the clip in the last few secodns after the video was to add a bit of suspense to the end to leave more of an impact on the audience. Basically I created a whole short story manipulating the lyrics of the song and clips from the movie. Overall it took me about an hour to create the whole "mash up" and I found the process quite enjoyable. I have also made other music videos which I am currently unsure if they would be uploaded or not.

It will be much easier to understand how the lyrics match the movie if you actually watched it. I would recommend it to anyone who likes "weird" entertainment or interested in art and animation.

This reminds me of every other AMV I have ever seen. Im not saying its bad, its quite good. But all AMVs consist of a newly refrenced pop culture song with an obligatiory fight scene. Some things I didn't understant about the video though. Why didn't the gaurds jsut use the bazooka instead of the crossbow. And then the wepon just happens to go off as he dies. Tsk...The ark was a bit scary though...
