Will you:

Consider the qualities that make a person your hero. Explain why this person is your hero and come to some conclusion on the nature of heroism (what exactly makes someone a hero).

"The achievement of the hero is one that he is ready for and it's really a manifestation of his character."( Joseph Campbell "The Power of Myth" 1988)

We think of heroes as extraordinary people triumphing over evil. But heroes are not always extraordinary and they certainly do not only exist in books and movies. In truth, the most important demonstrations of heroism are the ones we see everyday. Most of us have 'heroes,' people we greatly admire. Consider the qualities that make that person your hero. Explain why this person is your hero and come to some conclusion on the nature of heroism (what exactly makes someone a hero).
