E.I.E - Education Is Everything

It's finally the end of the school year and now that I think about it, I'm not sure if I'm ready to finish it off. I've gotten so used to things and I'm really going to miss doing work in class and writing tons and tons of papers. Overall, this has been a pretty good year. I have met my goals as to enhancing my vocabulary and becoming a better writer. Of course, I have my new goals for next year which include the following:
1. Not failing any classes.
2. Keeping up with all my work and staying on task.
3. Not making it to summer school.

Responsibilities for Two!

My topic that I’m writing about is both parents having an equal responsibility in raising and caring for a child. It’s something I have been interested in learning more about because a child is born every single day and it’s very interesting to look into who would take a lead role into raising that baby and helping it develop and grow. I have many questions about this topic that I hope to have answered which are the following:

1. Why does the responsibility depend on the circumstances on where the parents stand?
2. How do most women seem to take the main lead in raising a child?

Fresh Start to Spring!

Maria Robinson once said, “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” To me, this quote is saying that nobody could reverse time and change what has already happened, but anybody can make some new changes in the present to have a more positive ending. This definitely can be tied back to my life because there’s a lot of things that I wish I can change about what has already been done, but it’s now that I realize that it’s never too late to start over and fix things.

Dealing With New Parents!

smarky, by type94 a Youth Voices pool photographer on Flickr.

Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been the jealousy between kids’ parents marrying someone else who is not their other birth parent. I remember thinking about it when I thought about my friend. She has been depressed lately because she feel as if her dad is starting to care more about her stepmother than he cares for her. Lately, the issue has caught my eye again.
