This school year seemed long, but at the same time short. It was short in that it felt like the school year flew by. I was occupied with a large amount of work, and tasks to tackle which made the process feel long at the same time. Sophomore year gave me a taste of what’s coming up next. It opened up my eyes more to reality. As a student this year I could’ve done better; I could’ve made better decisions, too. I kind of wish that some of the things I’m realizing now, I would’ve realized earlier in the year.

Something I have been wanting to learn more about is crabs. Not crabs the sea creature, but crabs the STD. This STD isn’t very controversial in fact not many people are aware of it. The term “crabs” came from the shape of the critter. What this STD really is, is pubic lice. Throughout my research I hope to answer questions such as, what are the symptoms? What are the causes, and treatments? Everyone should be cautious about crabs; it’s not taken very serious.

Winston Churchill once said, “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” I agree with this quote, because it’s situations like these that determine who you’re setting yourself out to be. You’re either an optimistic person who sees the good in everything, or a pessimistic who expects the worst in all. A pessimistic person won’t ever see the opportunities unless handed to them. An optimistic seeks the opportunity in any obstacle. At this point in my life, I’m trying my best to be optimistic, especially in school.

Why Is It So Hard For People To Accept Themselves?

I have been interested in figuring out, why is it so hard for people to accept themselves. You can’t say you’re not insecure or have been, because everyone has had a moment in their lives where they can’t accept who they are. Everyone around me talks about the things they dislike about themselves. Rarely do you hear someone complimenting themselves, and if they are, they’re usually considered “conceited.” I think others know that the right thing to do is, try and accept yourself. It’s hard, but it’s something we should push forward for happiness.

Why do some people have a fear of Beautiful Women?

Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been why do some people have a fear of beautiful women? I remember facebook friends and I talking about it when I had put a status up regarding this topic, but I barely knew any information on it. Lately, the issue has caught my eye again. I know that many people didn’t even know this could possibly be a phobia. From what I have heard, this is a real phobia mainly in men. For example, I heard that people with this phobia become nervous and erratic. Now that’s just what I’ve heard, it may or may not be true.

Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been The Teenage Mind. I remember my mother and I talking about it during an argument, but since I didn’t have anybody backing me up on my thoughts I wasn’t sure if I was right. Lately, the issue has caught my eye again. I know that many people think that the teenage mind is complex. From what I have heard, the average teenager goes through different stages within its mind. For example, I heard that there’s a "rebellion" stage where the teen is at its own mind of state, and wants to do everything.

Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been if people can maintain healthy relationships without involving sex. I remember my best friend and I talking about it one time in a sleepover, but even though we had similar opinions we were still unsure on whether we had an answer. Lately, the issue has caught my eye again. I know that many people feel that sex is a must in a relationship. From what I’ve heard not many people believe it’s possible. For example, I heard that if you “give it up” right away you're considered smutty, but if you wait a while it’s fine.
