An example of an archetype in videogame culture is Nathan Drake from the “Uncharted” series. Nathan Drake identifies as an archetypal hero because he faces adventures in search for knowledge and treasure while facing enemies trying to accomplish those very tasks, but by using hostile means.

Recently, I've read the first book in the Maze Runner series by James Dashner. The Maze Runner series is a mystery, science-fiction series. I don't want to spoil the book for anybody, so I'm just going to tell you what I thought about the story.

The story, to me, wasn't very interesting. This is probably because I watched the movie before I read it, which is almost never a good idea. There were aspects that I did enjoy though. Such as the monsters in the maze instead of generic traps and how the maze shifts and changes every night.

I recently finished reading a book called "The Eye of Minds." This story is about about a teenage hacker, Michael, that is thrown into a situation. Him and his two friends, Bryson and Sarah, must track down a hacker that is negatively affecting people's lives inside and outside of virtual reality.

Next, here is a response that I've written about the story. It's a three entry journal through the perspective of Michael. You don't have to read it unless you want a better understanding of the plot.

In August of 2015, I was invited to go with my best friend, Sean, to his annual trip to Petoskey, MI. I stayed at a cottage with him, his mom, his step-dad, and two step-sisters in Bay Harbor, a small town in Petoskey.
