My best photo is one that I recently took of a pink rose that is bent over because it has ice and snow on top of it. I think it is a good photo because it is such an unusual thing, roses are rarely around when it snows, so catching that moment is very fortunate. I used the macro function on my camera got in close to the flower. I took this photo recently and I haven't improved it on photoshop yet, and I'm sure that once I do I can improve many aspects of this photo, especially the color and I want to try and make the background less busy.
I feel like I have grown a lot as a photographer, I no longer just point and shoot with my camera, but I take my time and think about the best way to capture the photo. I keep the Kodak tips in mind and try to use as many of tehm as I can in every photo. I have learned that I want to capture pictures that have a meaning and a feeling behind them, looking cool isn't necessarily my focus, but good quality photographs are.

Wagon + Pumpkin

I took this pumpkin from another picture and made it look like it was sitting in a wagon. We are working on combining pictures in class and it was hard for me to find to pictures that fit together nicely, but I figured pumpkins can go in carts, so it kind of worked.

I took a picture at the Snowbird ski resort in Utah, I like it because it shows the clarity and beauty of the mountains and the smog and pollution in the valley

I took this photo for a project called "Mapping Main Street". This is a car dealership on Main Street in Salt Lake City, Utah. I got up on a ledge to take the picture and try to get in as many of the cars as I could.

I took this photo at my grandma's house, there is a huge almost forest of sunflowers, and this is a close up of one of the flowers.
