Why?
Why? I am in the 7th grade and yesterday, we had career day at my school. I don't get why everyone expects us to know what we want as a career when we grow up. I mean i know we have to take it into consideration that we have to choose what high school to go to for your profession. But bombarding us with questions and jobs and stress isn't going to help. Granted, if you are in the 8th and 9th grade fine you have to start making decisions. But if you are in 7th grade and below, can't we get some space? I mean we don't have much time to be well a kid anymore. Next year we have to fill out applications for high schools, study for tests, do well on your report card. I mean there is so much to do next year. So why can't our parents just hold off and let us, well breathe. It isn't too long until we go to our first prom, or our first dance, or learn to drive, or even choose our colleges, heck leave college. So can't we (7th graders) just have time to hang out, go to the movies or just chill out at home watching a movie or playing on the computer or playing videotapes, or even to sleep.
