It was all a dream - a story of fiction

These stories are important because they are based on what happened recently in my life. Something that was hard for me to overcome at the time, but it was the best thing for me. Even till this day these decisions affect certain aspects of my life. It’s hard for me to explain because I don’t like sharing certain things with people, but writing these stories gives me a great opportunity for me to let my emotions go. The best thing about writing these stories is that I can change them the way I want. I went back and changed the past.

When I got to LaGuardia college there was about 500 kids. I was not expecting to see a whole bunch of people there; there literally was a line that wrapped around the whole college! For next week I had to attend orientation. It was pretty boring until the last day. This is when I met Isaiah.

The type of world we live in is the type where people's ideas are attacked by the government. Of course we all know everything is based of money. But why reduce the population for greed? Why collect money on tobacco products and then use them for Medicare that obviously isn’t working for these “smokers” who end up dying anyway of tobacco? The answer is quite clear that the money isn’t being used enough, or efficiently or else it would’ve made an impact already.

Talent Show was Wavey

The 4th Annual Talent Show at East West was by far the best. Parents, students, students from other schools, teachers and their families gathered December 15th 2010 to see east west students show off their talents. Chrystalle and Max host the evening and lightening up the show in between the performances; they really did a good job. Thumbs up guys.

One of my favorite performances was Ogo and Oneyaka rap mix. I enjoyed it because it was one of a kind, everyone eles, either sang or danced. It was funny how it started. They walked out while Trey Songz was playing and switched to MC hammer-what a great combo huh? It was fun to watch:)

Puppy Love

I just read a Wikipedia article” Puppy love”, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puppy_love). I choose to read this article because I wanted to clarify what it really means when adults use the terms. It’s pretty much a straight forward article.

Girls are more vulnerable than guys

I just read a Wikipedia article, “Adolescent sexuality in the United States”. I liked this article because there were many things I learned; some things I would have never guess was true, and also things I want to enhance my knowledge on.

Fresh

Recently in my English class we’ve watch a movie called “Fresh”. At first I thought this was going to be some random movie about why people should be vegetarians. I thought to myself, why are watching this and what does Mr. Allison wants us to get from watching “Fresh”. Then I thought about the type of things that I eat, where it comes from and how fresh is my food. Well, the types of food I eat vary based on where and who prepare my food. I’m not that picky when it comes to food, but at the same time, I like to eat food that’s favorable to my health.  The majority of my cooked meals come from an organic produced supermarket. My mom is big on organic food. Otherwise, when I eat snacks they’re mostly chips, cookies, and juice. Before, and after I buy things I look to see what it has in the ingredients and the nutritional facts, it’s kind of a habit I started recently.

Teens and Their Love Lives

We all need a companion and someone to love. Lets face it, the way parents are raising their teens may make them feel  neglected and in need of serious attention. However being in a relationship can  either go bad or good. Bad meaning “it wasn't meant to be so i think we should be apart”. And good meaning “we were meant to be and i cant live without you”. Being in a relationship can be difficult when you are a teenager. I don't know why we decide to make commitments at an early age but we do it anyways. Teens could barley take care of responsibilities but they put more burden on them selves by being committed to someone they barley know. And the worst part about it is, as teens our hormones go crazy making us tempted to do things we might or might not regret. This leads us to the wonderful topic of sex.

How can cigarettes help our school?

Cigarttes. We all despite it. We hate the smell, and the effects it has on our family and friends that engage in smoking.  And if you ever lost a love one because of it heres something you might want to know.

I know you've seen the prices rasing on cigarettes such as new port, malboro, black and mild ect ect. You would think people would stop smoking and save their 10 dollars that they spend each day.  But you cant really put a price on addiction so the government puts these crazy taxes on cigarattes recieving millions of dollars year from the comsumers of smokers.

Now exaclty what are they using all this money for? Orgianlly these taxes were supposed to go towards school.

However they way the school system are going do you honestly think a cent is coming towards our education.

If they are East West hasn't recieved a dime out of that million. We have sponsors that give us way more money than the government does.

So much for this wonderful contry that cares about our education.
