The Tall Being

A smooth hollow being in a plain grassly area
A friend to the beings of the unwanted
Protecting itself with the thousands of needles it holds
Standing tall
Showing who's boss

There's a gathering of hollow beings in a far far area
Being a kind fellow to each other
Hand to hand
Standing tall
Showing that they are not afraid

Do men and women have different kinds of dreams? My Reflections on Chapters 1-3 of Their Eyes Were Watching God

One of the issues that Zora Neal Hurston speaks to at the beginning of Their Eyes Were Watching God is: Do men and women dream differently? Excluding the physical parts of men and women, there are more women who are emotionally fragile compared to men. Overall there is nothing different from women and men. Both are human beings, and both can be fragile to certain things.

Zora Neale Hurston has a different view. She thinks that men dream more then women, and both men's and women’s dreams are completely different.

Egyptian Protests

Recently in English we've been studying about the Egyptian protest. At first, I thought we going to play some children card games using your ka and your ba. Well then that just gives you the ultimate baka. When I read the wikipidia article I started to think the Egyptians are flipping the heck out because their Internet was cut off. I know that many people feel that it’s not right bro. After doing this study, it’s really not right bro.For example, I heard that the president of Egypt Mubarak was in power for 30 years. 30 years?!? That’s ridiculous how long that is.

One thing that I know for sure about the Egyptian protest is that this movement was formed in Facebook. Now I've studied my share of English, and I’m surprised 2.5 million people protested in Egypt and this started in Facebook.  Personally, it's funny to me how it started from facebook.

konna hazu ja nakatta!?  HAI sugiru HAI SUKUURU DEIZU So very Fantastic World ureshii gosan tanoshii ni kousan, those are the words that were stuck in my head during english class on 10/27/2010.  Theses are lyrics to the song “girls in wonderland” by houkago tea time or After School tea time, HTT in short.  HTT is a group created by a Japanese anime called “K-on!”.  Although it’s only a bonus track, in my opinion it’s a good song.

K-on is an anime funded by TBS Japan shown in 2pm, 3pm est.

Food Trolls

Last week in English class, we watched a movie called “Fresh” overall I’ll give it a 3 out of 5 stars as a documentary. Before that, the class was asked to write a free write about the food system. I didn’t know what the idea of “food system” meant due to my lack of English vocabulary so I wrote about how food grows.

After we watched the movie I got the idea of what a food system is. However my opinions about food won’t change because of some documentary. If food is edible, taste good or healthy then I’ll eat it. Some day’s I might just crave for a giant Big Mac and other days I just might like a salad. It’s up to the person on he or she wants. However learn to have self control, you’ll kill yourself if you eat too much unhealthy food, and you won’t get enough nutrients if you eat too much unhealthy food, sometimes unhealthy food is good if you need the calories fast without medicine.

why can't we regenerate lightning

Last Week, I talked about the tornado that hit and caused a dent in New York City and if it really was a tornado. This week, it will be about thunderstorms and why humans can’t regenerate it.  Thunder is a large set of jolt or shock of light giving off thousands of energy.  However because it’s only a second of energy giving off, it nearly fries most electronic devices when hit by lighting.  Lighting is caused by the ripping of positive and negative energy.  It’s like the pulling of magnets, when a positive and a negative force are near each other they collide and collect with each other.
A basic process but very difficult

Was it a tornado

On September 16, 2010, there was a massive thunderstorm caused by 3 hurricanes hit the New York City making the city heavily damaged.  People say it was a heavy storm that made the damage, others say it was a tornado.  By technology and statistics, it was said to be a tornado, however by looking at certain videos on the site “youtube” it looked like a huge gust came and tore the place apart.  Even with such great technology like the article on Bnet,  its still difficult to notice.

Why do I need to write 10 questions?
