My First Electronic Game

In our technology class, we learned how to create a classic game called pong through tutorials. We watched two videos which showed us what actions (blocks) we needed to put together on scratch to make the game. We were able to modify the game to a theme of our choice after completing the basis of the game. I made my game alien themed, the point was he was trying to get back to his UFO but every time he got close the machine would malfunction and knock over other planets(bricks)instead of picking him up.

The tragedy in Japan killed many people and destroyed several homes. This is something that no one could have controlled and we need to help the people from Japan recover. Innocent people, children were lost and it's up you to give Japan a chance to have hope. Durning Hurricane Katrina, Japan raised more than $1.5 million dollars in donations. They deserve our aid and care to help Japan recover. If they tryed to help us in need, why should we refuse to help them?

Learning the Truth from Japan

It
was really interesting to read the stories about people that were there
when the earthquake took place. It’s crazy to read about how they were
just going through their normal agendas, when suddenly the natural
disaster hit. Some of the kids were in school or at home enjoying
quality time. Whenever you hear of a earthquake, some don’t truly
realize what they could have lost. I got to step into their shoes when
reading these passages. It made me think of how many valuable things in
my house that I  would never want to lose or give up. But they had to

http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://apusa.us/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/RIn this news story, they have found a second person overexposed to radiation. So far, she has no health problems but has an appointment with the doctor on Monday. This story interests me because it’s horrible to hear of all the damage done.

One of my favorite stories that I read from quakestories, a website with passages from students who experienced the earthquake in Japan was the second piece I read. The story was about a girl who had recently bought a game called Deal or No Deal. Her name was Amelia and she loved to play the game but when the earthquake started she had to run under the table and couldn’t save it.
