In technology, we made a game using the program scratch. It was similar to the game pong which involved a ball and a paddle you moved with your mouse. It is a simple game and we went to a website that gave us tutorials on how to do it. In the game we created, if you fall in a red area on the game then the game is over. To help prevent that from happening, you have to move the paddle with your mouse when the ball come and try to block it from that red area.

One of the stories that caught my attention was "The Day of the Quake" by Dan. I think he is the most brave out of all the people I read about. He was alone in Japan right after the earthquake had struck. Dan got lost and scared but not as much as anyone else would've been. He uses his iphone as a navigator to get his way back to his familiar streets. He gets to YIS and even the teacher is impressed by Dan. If he was really scared, then he would've panicked and not gotten back for a while. I was shocked and impressed as well as his teachers.
