For those that have never taken an AP test before i strongly recommend you do not walk into any AP test cocky for you will surely leave humbled. This does not mean that you cannot have confidence during a test, but just don't think that you will get a 4 if you don't study. For those that are new to the process here is the typical AP testing process at Judge. You will first walk into the Judge gym that will invariably be cold regardless if it's summer. Then you will be seated at an assigned desk and then will given the test packets. Then Mr.

2012 has already been a pretty exciting year and we are not even half way done. We've already seen the assassination of Osama Bin Laden, along with the death of a technological icon in Steve Jobs. Also we've seen a cruise ship crash along the coast of Italy and who could forget the death of Whitney Houston. Then there was the near death of the internet as we know it with the SOPA act that luckily did not get passed. Yes it has certainly been quite a riveting 5 months thus far and the fun is far from stopping.

In just a few short weeks I along with the rest of my senior class will be graduating! I'm very excited for the end of school because then it will be summer. I simply cannot wait because this summer will be one that will be unlike any i've had. The past three summers i have been playing basketball almost all summer long. Now that i'm done with basketball i have a chance to get a job and make some money for next year at college. I also plan on taking many vacations and trips with my friends. I'm thinking of going to Florida, and Lake Powell.

Maui a Great Vacation

I have been on quite a few vacations in my life so far. I have gone on a cruise in The Caribbean, i have been to Vegas, Chicago and Disney World, But of all these vacations there is one that stands out above the rest. Going to the island of Maui was by far the greatest thing i have ever done in my life. The view from the hotel on the beach is one that i will never forget. It was by far the most relaxing time of my life and i really want to go back sometime soon. There is just something so relaxing about being so far away from home.

This week the nation's largest basketball tournament kicked off, and boy what a start it's been. I am of course talking about the NCAA College Basketball Tournament. This week was arguable one of the most shocking weeks in the tournaments history due to the huge upsets of both Duke and Missouri losing in the first round this week. This unexpected turn of events surely ruined most people's brackets because i know a large majority had both teams going fairly far in the tournament.

The Importance of Sleep

If i were to pick out the one thing that i need as a high schooler it would be sleep. Ironically enough if i were to pick out the one thing i get the least of it would be sleep. Sleep is a great thing on so many levels because it has so many effects on our body. If we get enough sleep we can concentrate in class instead of falling asleep on our desks. Also if one get's enough sleep they are much more calm, and less stressed which makes it easier to fall asleep.

Transhumanism?

Something that all of us as humans have thought about at one point in our lives haas been the idea of immortality. The idea of living forever has plagued mankind for as long as we had knowledge that we were mortal. Up until recently the idea was thought of as impossible, sokmething that could never become a reality. That is until a few years ago when scientists actually started researching the topic and started acquiring the technology that could one day make this a reality.

A Revival of Music?

Ok let's be honest here most music today has become pretty much the same some crap over and over again. Real instruments like guitars, drums, and bass have been replaced with sythesizers, computerized beats and let's not forget...auto tune. To me the last one is by far the worts because it shows just how lazy the music industry has become by replacing the key ingredient of any music, the voice, with something that sounds the same no matter who you are. Now don't get me wrong i do like some of the rap, and hip hop beats they have once in a while.

4 Day School Week

Around 3 years ago i heard an idea that sounded too good to be true. Sadly as is the case with most of those ideas, it was. It was the idea of a 4 day school/work week. When i first heard this new idea i started to wonder what it would be like to have Friday off everyday of the year. I came up with nothing but positive results except for the fact that school would be an extra 2 hours. Once i started to think about a school day from 8 to 5 i got sick to my stomach. I think that school times we have currently are perfectly fine the way they are.

Spring Break Upcoming

Spring break is just a few weeks away and i personally could not be more excited. Spring break is always a fun time for high schoolers because they have a chance to take a break from all of the stress at school with grades and tests. I think that these types of breaks are critical in maintaing a higher student moral because let's face it school can be and typically is stressful. This year i think i'm going to take a trip with a group of friends somewhere. We're thinking of St. George, California, or Florida.
