A tribute to Sandy Hook victims by ~andrewtheartist on deviantART andrewtheartis

Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been
the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting. I remember my mother talking about it when it happened, but I didn’t learn about it much because I was working and I barely had time to watch the news. It was all over the news and media, so much different information they had I didn’t want to get confused so i figured i’d wait until the real story was set.

I was always interested in the Sandy Hook shooting, except that I never had time for being informed on what happened. Till recently that my teacher told me if I was interested in doing my next research topic on the Sandy Hook shooting. Since at my job I get a few hours of free time I figured why not and also those long train rides where I do nothing most of the time. I began reading the articles of what happened. I was heartbroken to see that it was children who were killed. Just to imagine and picture these graphic images it makes me wonder what the heck was Lanza thinking.

Fate doesn't chose itself: Night by Elie Wiesel

I’m towards the ending of this book, Elie and his dad made so many wrong decisions they had so many opportunities to escape. I don't know why would they make such silly mistakes to stay and suffer. We learn that towards the end the Red Army comes and saves them little by little. When the Germans find out they do the impossible to escape from death because he was in a hospital where a German Jew tried saving his life but Elie was too paranoid with what he was already going through. I wouldn't believe that miracles can happen during something so horrific.

As I read this book the more I see how Jewish people suffered. The way Elie Wiesel explains every detail towards the arrival to the arrival to the concentration camp makes me feel sad. The way he describes how people suffered, how children cried you feel like you are there. The way he describes the horror he felt when he found out about the crematory sends shivers to your spine. Just to imagine all that he went through breaks my heart. Jewish people suffered and went through horror. It was like a nightmare you can't wake up from. I feel the author’s pain and suffering.

I was always interested in reading about people’s experience of the holocaust. Although there are a few storytellers due to the remaining people who survived. This story was written by Elie Wiesel, a person who actually was part of the holocaust who explains how was experience. This is unbelievable because barely any human survived. I’m interested in knowing how Elie survived and hopefully by the end of the this book i’ll learn how was it to feel and be in the holocaust. So far from what I been reading it makes me question this book a lot.

Earth is covered in natural resources. Those natural resources are used in many ways in our lives. Most of these natural resources are made of minerals. Minerals is a naturally occurring, inorganic solid with a define structure and composition. Minerals are mostly found on earth’s crust and they are on most of our everyday items. Minerals have a lot of functions on earth for example minerals are used in construction, on jewelry, art, utensils, machinery, and many more. Why is the scientific method important?

The scientific method has been around for a very long time and it has helped us in life by proving our answers to questions we have about the world. The scientific method is a procedure that can be produce by anyone. It can help you answer a question that you have for example in the video I watched the girl wanted to know “Which of these three materials will keep drinks hot longer?”, the materials she used was a paper cup, ceramic cup, and a styrofoam cup. In order for her to find the answer from her question she used the scientific method that has a procedure of five sets.
