Possible Game #1
Title: Ms. Lambrini's Great Geometry Adventure
Birthday Recipient: Ms. Lambrini
Players- Ages 6 and up; 4 players per game;
Type of Game: Board Game

Tools and Materials:
There will be various types of materials for my board game because I will be making it from scratch instead of online or on a program that makes games. These are some materials that I will be using in order to create and have gamers play my game:
- Big Card Board Paper
- Pawns made out of paper
- Markers
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Index Cards
- Tape

Game Space:
I want my game to have a simple layout like the game Candy Land. Candy Land is a pretty simple game that almost anyone can play but gamers have an extremely fun time playing.
Here is a picture of the game space or layout of Candy Land:

The International Monetary Fun (Monopoly Version)

This game will be a modofied version of monopoly. However it will be about a different economy issue that we have today because of capitalism. The World Trade Organization created the International Monetary Fund years after countries were going decolonization. These countries are currently know as "Third World", and are horribly in dept. After decolonization countries knew that they could not survive on their own economy and products. In order to get their economy started they signed treaties with the IMF in order to gain money. The IMF then placed SAP's on these countries that make the money almost impossible to pay off. Countries are currently horribly in dept, and this game will allow people to understand how these countries are suffering and how the IMF needs different policies. It is also evident in the game that the IMF should allow these developing countries to rely on their own economy and products.

Comparing Two Games

Not all games are the same. Some are video sometimes played strictly for entertainment .Others seem to be designed to teach students and players topics that aren't usually tought or experienced. While some are played simply for basic fun with friends and family. Whatever game it is, the goals are always the same: Try your best and see how far you can get at the game. Games are also meant to be entertaining because noone wants to be playing a game that is completely boring. Games are also made to be won, and trying your best to be the best. Personally, I enjoy playing more physical games than virtual games. Although my favorite games are played using the human body, virtual games that are played in a digital world can be just as entertaining and can lead players to have many hours of safe fun.

McDonald's! Even the Game Sucks

Today, I played a game called  "McDonald's". I found it at http://mcvideogame.com/game-eng.html. From the set of games we received, I thought this would interest me because I always wondered how McDonald's and businesses work. I was also thinking about business and the economy the other day and I thought it would be interesting to see how an actual business works. McDonald's is a great business that has stores all over the world. I thought if I played this game I would be able to get an inside look on how the fast food chain was so successful.

Game Space:

- They layout of my game will be like a board, avatar taking up 1 space on the board. The first levels will have bigger boards because they will be easier. However, after a lot of game play and higher levels, board gets smaller, and the population of villans increase. I am not sure of what the dimensions for the board will be yet.

Components:

- Ninjat Turtles (Avatars). The player is one of the Four Ninja Turtles from the famous Television Show

- Many Levels, each having different difficulties that must be solved. It is basically a board game with challenges that have a goal in the end.

- Defeating evil villans will get you points, being killed by evil villans will take a life from your life count

- Starting and Finishing point. Starting point is where you begin the game. While the Ending point is where one goes to get to the next level of Ninja Turtle Fun.

- Different Obsticales in different levels. Including mysterious holes, dissapearing ninjas, and the SHREDDER.

Rules:

- Players have to stick to one avatar. You are not allowed to change avatars

Not all games are the same. Some are video games played for gaming systems. Others seem to be designed to inform people of causes in other counties. This games are to give information to people around the world about people in different situations than there own. These games may be realistic or may be fantasy, but are intended to get a message out to viewers. While others are played simply for entertainment and pleasure. Whatever game it is, the goals are always the same, to allow a player of the game to enjoy themselves, and go through many tasks in order to reach a certain destination. In board games you go through many challenges, while in video games you might go through different levels. In sports games you have to defeat your opinions. Whatever the game, there is always a certain goal you have to reach in the end.

There are a bunch of social networking sites where you can keep in touch with your friends and see pictures and talk to eachother. Twitter is one of them. Twitter is a big thing today, and a bunch of famous people are begining to use it and I think it would be cool to get one and follow all types of people. I have never blogged or anything like that. Twitter has been all over the entertainment buisness. Does anyone have any personal experiences with twitter? Well, I have facebook, and it is pretty cool. You can update your status when you are with friends or just at home bored.
