We encourage you to spend a lot of time writing thoughtful comments back and forth on other students' Discussions.  Here are some qualities of good comments: you specifically address the writing and say why it's noteworthy; cite specific examples; make connections to something you've experienced, observed, or read; and end your comment with an invitation for more conversation.
