Something that I have been interested in learning more about has been why did the MTA raise fares? I remember my mom talking about it when she first watched the news, but I did not know much at the time because it did not affected me much. Lately, the issue caught my eye again. I know that many people feel that it stinks. From what I have heard, it’s even harder for people that don’t have jobs and even for people that have a job. For example, I heard that bus want to show up late and then MTA want to raise fares and that is not right at all.
