The topic I have chosen is text messaging affecting teens. This topic interested me because I notice that I write differently than the way I text. It has made me wonder if text messaging affects us. From some of the research i’ve done researchers have said that girls send more text messages than boys due to a research. I have found many of other peoples opinion on the topic. It also said “about 75% of 12 to 17 year-olds in the USA have a cellphone, and 75% of these teens send text messages too.” This topic has really caught my interest because it can affect people in many ways.
Text Messaging. This simple phrase is known world-wide. At first a cellular device was used in the case of an emergency, and came sometime after the trusty old beeper.
I go to Florin High School, in Sacramento CA. I am 16 years old and born on July 5, 1992. I like to play basketball, and it is my favorite sport aswell.
